GEORGE EZRA’S ENDSESSION AT evo
By Chris Dickerson, Seattle, WA: We recently hosted a 107.7 The End EndSession at the Seattle store with musician George Ezra. 20 fans and evo employees were treated to a few songs before his concert at the Showbox in Seattle, which was later canceled due to illness, so we were lucky to be able to listen and meet him beforehand.
George Ezra is a 22 year-old English singer-songwriter. Most well-known for his 2014 song Budapest that reached top 10 in numerous countries, and his album Wanted Voyage, which was the third bestselling album in the UK. The song was inspired by his travels around Europe by train…a place he never actually made it to.
You may have seen him perform on Saturday Night Live, and he knows The Rock.
Here is our interview with George:
George: Hello (British accent).
evoCrew: Hey, I am Sarah, and Sarah.
Geroge: Everyone squeeze into get a picture. (laughs, photos taken)

evoCrew: Thanks!
George: Pleasure to meet you Sarah and Sarah.
Sarah: He remembered my name!
The store crew cleared out the Women’s section of the Seattle store and 107.7 The End Crew set up on our stage, with a little help from our Skullcandy sound system. (Thanks for that!) What is so fun about our space is its ability to transform from a retail space to a music venue, to a gallery, to a movie venue, and back again in a matter of hours. For George, we transformed our store into a concert venue and back again all in the same afternoon.
Here are some photos from the event!

We are excited to be bringing you more musical performances this year in Seattle and Portland. You can see recaps of Wu-Tang’s GZA at our Portland grand opening party and RA Scion last spring, during our Imperial Motion Art Gallery opening.
