Local musician and friend to evo, Michael Stegner, has put together a benefit show for us all to enjoy. This will be a great event that will support First Place School in Seattle.They do amazing work for kids and families who don’t have homes. Make sure to check them out so you understand where your $5-$15 donation at the door will be going. The show will be at Tost Lounge right down the street from evo.
Seattle is home to some incredible musicians and Saturday’s lineup will be evidence of that. Some of the heaviest hitters on the scene have committed to support this event and are ready to throw down for us.
It’ll be a musical extravaganza for a great cause. Here are the details:
6:30pm – Steve Treseler Trio (jazz)
7:30pm – Goat (Greg Sinabaldi, Zach Stewart and Byron Vannoy) (Experimental Jazz)
8:30pm – Colin Higgins (singer/songwriter)
9:15pm – Thione Diop and Yeke Yeke (West African Drumming and Dance)
10:15pm – Andy Sells / Forest Giberson / Michael Stegner (Americana Soul)
10:50pm – Michael Shrieve Group (legendary drummer from Santana)
11:50pm – Byron Vannoy/ Thione Diop/ Hans Teuber/ Michael Stegner (A Fusion of Dance, World, Hip Hop and Jazz)
Crazy things happen when a group like this puts themselves under the same roof at one time. Come early and stay late.
